Secret Ingredients
GRASSROOTS is made out of a base of malt wine, which is also used for Whiskey, Old Genever or Korenwijn. This provides a versatile foundation.
Then 28 spices and herbs, are distilled into the spirit. These include a variety of citrus peels, peppers, seeds and roots. Making it both a good mixer, as well as a powerful neat drink.
As a final touch the spirit gets infused with ginger, from which it gets its distinctive, yet subtle, kick.
GRASSROOTS — BOOTLEG GINGER — BATCH No. 1 is a low sugar, conscious spirit. Blended and distilled in one of the oldest distilleries from Holland. Natural ingredients. Unfiltered. Bitter.

GRASSROOTS can be enjoyed all year round. As an aperitif or as a digestif.
Neat on fridge temperature, or hot in a tea or in a GlühRoots, works well to get through long winter nights.
